Speaking to Upstream, Elvida Islyamova of Chornomornaftohaz saidthat the cruiser is preventing the company’s support vessels from sailing fromits support base at Yarylgach Bay.
The vessels have to bring water, food and other supplies to about600 people that are located at Chornomornaftohaz stationery platforms in theBlack Sea.
According to Islyamova, the cruiser arrived at the bay on 8 March,closing the navigation channel, and has been ignoring communication attemptsfrom shore.
