The Dublin-headquartered explorer said the two companies were now “movingforward to finalising transaction documents” for the tie-up, which saw a letter of intent signed in February.
Under the deal,Baker Hughes will pay for up to four workovers at the Permian Rotliegendes playto be reimbursed through production revenues along with a 10% net profitinterest in the wells.
San Leon Energy executive chairman said that final documents would besigned “in the near future” and that technical and operational planning wasalready underway for the first two workovers.
