Easternwell, a well services and well construction subsidiary of Transfield Services, said on Thursday it had secured a deal to supply heavy workover services for a two-year period starting late this year. The contract also includes two on-year extension options.
The company said it would manage a new rig build from its Toowoomba workshop in Queensland, expecting to spend about A$4 million with local and regional suppliers.
