The development, which involves a three-well subsea tie-back to the existing Modec Venture 11 floating production, storage and offloading vessel at the company’s operated Mutineer-Exeter field off the north-west coast of Australia, was sanctioned 16 months ago in January 2012.
The project is expected to have an average gross output rate of 15,000 barrels per day for the first year of production.
