The Adelaide-based company said the 6% increase on last quarter to 2.6 million barrels of crude oil production was mainly due to strong output from South Australia’s Cooper basin and the Chim Sao project in Vietnam.
Santos’ total production also rose by 6% to 13.5 million barrels compared to last quarter, and by 10% in a year-to-date comparison with 2011.
