South Korean yard Daewoo Shipbuilding &Marine Engineering has handed STG the deal to supply the unit for ExxonNeftegas’ Arkutun-Dagi platform on the Sakhalin 1 project off Sakhalin Island.
STG will use its vessel Jascon 25 on thejob, with the unit set to be upgraded to be able to accommodate 595 people.
The firm contract, which is set to begin inthe second quarter next year, is for 120 days, with options to extendup to 90 more days.
