The deal with Pemex finalises a heads of agreement announced in November last year. The final contract will see Pemex take control of Seadrill's West Oberon, West Intrepid, West Defender and West Courageous jack-up units.
A fifth contract is being processed for the recently acquired jack-up Prospector 3, which Seadrill has renamed West Titania. That contract is expected to be finalised in the second quarter of this year, Seadrill said.
