SembMarine’s Jurong Shipyard will carry out the contract, which is due for delivery by the end of December 2014.
The first accommodation unit, the Safe Boreas, was contracted in December last year and is currently under construction in the shipyard.
The second unit will be built based on a similar design to the first. It will be capable of operating gangway connected in deep water and in harsh environments alongside fixed platforms, floating platforms and floating production and offloading vessels.
