Senex revealed on Wednesday the VintageCrop-5 appraisal well on PEL 516 had been cased and suspended as a future Murtaoil producer after hitting 4.3 metres of net oil pay in the Murta formation.
It added that oil saturation derived frompetrophysical analysis indicated the well also encountered the McKinlayreservoir close to the oil-water contact, which had previously never beenintersected at the field.
