The company said on Wednesday that crew and equipment had mobilised to the Skipton-1 exploration well in its wholly-owned permit PEL 516 this week, with fracking operations due to commence shortly.
“The workover rig, Wild Desert 10 has now completed water sampling and a Haliburton fracture stimulation crew has mobilised to site,” Senex stated.
Skipton-1 will be the first of five wells to be fracture stimulated in the programme, which will cover Senex’s southern and northern Cooper basin permits.
