TheOslo-listed company said on Tuesday it has acquired the technology rights ofTorp LNG and its affiliates for the proprietary HiLoad technology for offshoreloading of liquefied natural gas.
Thetechnology was originally developed for oil loading, the rights for which areretained by Remora that is in turn predominantly owned by Sevan’s majorshareholder Teekay, with the first HiLoad dynamic positioning system set tostart operations off Brazil shortly.
