Fossil fuel industries generally fare poorly in this regard against the renewables stable, while sanctions-hit Russia trails Norway by an enormous distance when it comes to being a trusted energy trading partner, the report from global market insights firm Edelman Berland said.
The UK has the least trusted set of energy industries than anywhere else in the world polled by the firm – even lagging behind the controversy-ridden banking industry, the research outfit said in its latest Trust Barometer.
