In his keynote address at the Australian Gas Technology conference in Perth this morning, Moore said that particularly in the eastern states of Australia, fracking had become a “dirty word” and anti-coalbed methane “fear campaigns” had turned unconventional exploration into a significant political and environmental issue.
“It’s my view that it is imperative for industry to put the facts on the table in respect to how this particular gas resource is being exploited,” Moore said.
