The measure, which came into effect from9am local time on Tuesday, is as a result of repairs being carriedout to a 48-inch export line at Forcados terminal, the Anglo-Dutch supermajor’sjoint venture in Nigeria, Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), said.

“The subsea line was shut when a leak wasdiscovered on 4 March, 2014, leading to suspension of SPDC and third partycrude oil exports through the terminal,” a statement on Tuesday read.

“Helicopter
