Marvin Odum, the head of Shell's US unit, said it is still the company's intent to divest more than 100,000 acres on the Harrison Ranch lease in Dimmit County, Texas, one the largest single Eagle Ford assets still on the market.
"As we entered the shale market, what we did was take a number of positions in shale gas assets and a number of positions in liquids-rich shale assets, very much on the emerging exploration and appraisal front," Odum said on Wednesday in Houston.
