Chief executive Peter Voser said the Anglo-Dutch energy giant had slowed down with final investment decisions for Australian LNG projects "where there's cost inflation pressures; we're taking more time on Gorgon Train 4 and Arrow".
Shell owns a 25% stake in Gorgon; its partners are Chevron (47%) and ExxonMobil (25%). Shell owns 50% of Arrow as does its joint venture partner PetroChina.
