A filing with the Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board disclosed the closureof the Encana project off Canada's eastern coast.
"The current shutdown is temporary and was planned in order to do some additional work on the platform that is related to getting it up to full capacity," Encana spokesman Jay Averill said.
Work is ongoing to bring the platform up to its 300 million cubic feet per day.
