Sino to spud third Linxing well, sends fourth rig to site

The China-focused company said three drilling rigs were already on site with the first two wells, LXSG-09 and LXSG-05, drilling ahead at 540 metres and 242 metres (respectively) since spudding in August.

The third well, LXSG-02, is expected to be spudded on or around 9 September and will be drilled to a total depth of 1030 metres.

Sino said a fourth rig was en-route to the site and would begin drilling LXSG-08 later this month (to a depth of 1020 metres).
