The company posted a profit of 66.1 billionyuan ($10.6 billion) for the year, up from 2012’s profit of just under 63.9billion yuan.
The rise in profits came as revenues rose3.4%, from nearly 2.8 trillion yuan in 2012, to just under 2.9 trillion yuanlast year.
Helping lift the company’s 2013 result wasa strong performance from the company’s upstream segment which produced 442.8million barrels of oil equivalent, up 3.5%
