The office, at Regent Quay, will be part of SNC’s oil andgas business and will report into the resources, environment and water group,led in London by industry veteran and former Amec executive Neil Bruce.
Speaking to Upstream for this week’s print edition, Bruce said SNC’s UK business could treble its current staff of about1000 across all sectors within 18 months.
The Aberdeen office follows the recent opening of an officein Stavanger and is part of SNC’s plan to expand operations in the North Sea,following recent contract awards for Statoil on its Mariner and Gina Krogprojects and GDF Suez’s Cygnus development.
