The deal includes about 125,000 square kilometres of shelf data and 80,000 square kilometres from the Barents Sea.
The data on the Norwegian shelf "contributed greatly to the exploration success in mature areas offshore Norway over the past few years.” Spectrum chief executive Rune Eng said.
The deal is expected to close in early March.
