The SSP Hub would be an offshore logistics base designed to optimise operations via infield helicopters and high-speed crew boats.
The facility is also envisaged as boasting storage for fluids and equipment, support for search and rescue, emergency housing and hospital facilities, among other things.
The two companies will work together to "collaboratively finalise specific design details and operational protocols."
