Lafayette, Louisiana-based Stone on Tuesday posted net income of $23.6 million in the three months to September, compared with $51.8 million in the year-ago quarter.
While revenue grew 6% to $227.3 million, the company also saw revenue from natural gas sink 20.3% to $34 million and counted $89.2 million in depreciation, depletion and amortisation costs.
On the plus side, the company said overall production increased 18% to 41,800 barrels of oil equivalent per day even with delays from Hurricane Isaac.
