The $75 million contract will seeSubsea 7 carry out subsea construction services at the field over athree-year period.
The scope of the contact includesproject management, engineering and installation of two offshoreloading systems in a water depth of 92 metres.
Subsea 7 said engineering and projectmanagement would start immediately at its offices in St John's,Canada.
The Hebron heavy oilfield lies in theJeanne d'Arc basin, about 350kilometres off Newfoundland, and is estimated to hold between 660million and 1 billion barrels of recoverable resources.
