The reserves assessment by Denver-based MHA Petroleum Consultants estimated the project to hold proven plus probable reserves of 540 billion cubic feet of gas and 4.3 million barrels of condensate.
MHA also placed the project's proven reserves at 210 Bcf of gas and 1.7 million barrels of condensate which Sunbird said was enough to support the commerciality of the first phase of development without the need for further exploration or appraisal drilling.
