The southern Africa-focused company said Wednesday that these results from the MOP001A well had exceeded an independent best estimate of 2.83 cubic metres per tonne.
It also follows results from the first Mopane core hole, MOP002A, which had delivered 7.54 cubic metres per tonne of gas content during an initial gas desorption analysis earlier this month.
