TheCanadian company revealed that its emergency services personnelresponded after an unnamed employee was unable to be located onSunday.
Itadded a full scale search began and the Royal Canadian Mounted PoliceandAlbertaOccupational Health & Safetywere notified, however the worker was located a few hours after the search began but wasdeclared deceased at the scene.
Suncordid not reveal the cause of the employees death but said theirimmediate family had been notified and that it was working withauthorities while a full investigation into the cause of the incidentwas carried out.
