The Canadian independent said its Kurdamir-2 well saw stabilised rates of up to 3450 barrels of 38 degree API oil and 8.8 mmcf per day of natural gas over two days.
The test targeted a 20-metre fractured zone using a 72/64" choke and wellhead flowing pressure of 810 psi.
The results point to an oil column of at least 146 metres in the Ogliocene reservoir, which will be further defined with the Kurdamir-3 appraisal well, due to spud close to the discovery in early 2013.
