The contracts will see the pair build four new vessels that will operate in Brazilian waters and be used to install flexible pipes under the contracts with Petrobras.
Under the joint venture Technip will manage flexible pipelay and DOF will be responsible for marine operations.
Technip said its share of the contracts under the 50:50 joint venture was valued at roughly €1.35
