Tethys revealed the AKK18 well was drilledto a total depth of 750 metres and intersected a 3.6 metre interval of gas bearing Tasaran sand with an averageporosity of 31%.
It added the result compared withthe AKK15 well, about six kilometres to the north-east, which encountered afour metre gas-bearing interval of similar quality and flowedat a stable rate of about 7 million cubic feet of gas per day.
