The first of four appraisal wells being drilled in the Te Giac Trang oilfield off Vietnam has hit about 117 metres of net pay, according to Soco International.
The company told the London Stock Exchange on Monday the TGT-10X exploration well, which spudded at the end of last month in the field’s H5 fault block, reached a measured depth of 4226 metres and encountered about 250 metres of gross oil pay.
