The oil & gas and shipping veteran has landed a senior partner position at Norwegian private equity player HitecVision.
Thorkildsen, who also spent two decades with Shell, will be working for the upstream investment company from its Stavanger office.
The Norwegian headed for the exit at Seadrill in early October after a disagreement over plans to relocate the company’s headquarters from Stavanger.
