Under the contract, Titan’s Atlas Drilling business will supply the Schramm TXD rig for an initial period of six months, with an option for an additional six months.
Titan managing director Jim Sturgess said in a statement on Monday that the Rig 3 contract was expected to be operational from next month.
“(It) will give Atlas Drilling long-term contracts with three of the four major CSG (coal seam gas) developers in Queensland - namely Australia Pacific LNG, QGC and Arrow Energy,” he added.
