Hong Kong-listed Titan Petrochemicals Group and Singapore’sKeppel FELS have joined forces on turning the Titan Quanzhou Shipyard into anoffshore construction hub.
The petrochemicals giant said it had signed a 30-year managementservices deal with the Singapore offshore specialist for the management andoperation of the yard in the south-eastern Chinese port city of Quanzhou,Fujian province.
Keppel O&M chief executive Chow Yew Yuen said the combinationof Titan’s connections and Keppel’s expertise made the tie-up “a win-winpartnership that will enable Keppel and Titan to become a major offshoresolutions provider for China”.
