Upstream previously reported the vessel is on an eight-year contract to Petrobras,which is exploring in the Gulf at its Cascade/Chinook development.
Long-term plans have called for as many as six subseawells on Cascade and seven on Chinook -- as well as completion work at already drilled wells -- but that depends on approval from theBrazilian state-run firm and its partner Total.
