The UAE-based offshoot of Renaissance Services is set to put pen to paper on the order for a dozen security vessels by the end of this month, chief executive of the shipbuilding and ship repair division Tom Bower said this week.
The comparatively large contract would build on an order for 10 patrol vessels from Kuwait Oil Company for the yard last year, something Bower described as a “game-changing” order for the company.
