The 1997-rebuilt dynamically positioned drillship is on a prolonged contract through June with in Indonesia at a day rate of $500,000 after Inpex exercised an option, the Zug, Switzerland headquartered driller revealed in its latest fleet status update.
The short-term deal with an undisclosed customer runs from June to September at a dayrate of $400,000. The unit is capable of working in up to 7000 feet of water and drilling to 25,000 feet.
