The system is comprised of three Cryoline LNG floating hoses, a hose storage system, connection head for the LNG terminal and bow loading platform, creating a "durable alternative to traditional technologies such as marine loading arms," according to the Sweden-headquartered engineering company.
Trelleborg handled development of the 20-inch diametre hoses, which boast an inner cryogenic hose, an outer protective hose and a layer of insulation as well as a system to monitor leaks.
