In late 2012, the company signed a letter of intent for six Moroccan onshore and offshore exploration blocks with Morocco’s Mine and Petroleum office.
The company submitted proposed work programmes and applications for each licence early last year but they still have not received approval.
“Shortly after this the Moroccan Government experienced a turbulent political landscape until October 2013 when a new cabinet was appointed,” the company said in a statement to the Australia Securities Exchange.
