UK-based Hardy said the drillship Dhirubhai Deepwater KG2 is contracted to Reliance and will start drilling the fifth exploration well in D3 in the second quarter. A sixth and final commitment well in the permit will follow before the year is out.
Last year the joint venture resubmitted a declaration of commerciality for the Dhirubhai 39 and Dhirubhai 41 gas discoveries in D3.
