The well encountered reservoir quality sands but all of the intervals were water wet.
This was the first exploration well in the 551 production licence in the North Sea and was targeting the Upper Jurassic Sognefjord formation reservoir.
The Transocean Barents semi-submersible drilling rig drilled the well before it was terminated in the Middle Jurassic Brent Group.
The well will now be plugged and abandoned.
