The completion of the installation wasrevealed on Thursday by FloaTec who coordinated the design, fabrication andcompletion of the TLWP and is a joint venture between US-basedMcDermott and Singapore’s Keppel Fels.
The topsides were engineered by McDermottin Houston and constructed at Keppel in Singapore, while FloaTec designedthe hull which was fabricated at Keppel’s Brazilian yard, BrasFels.
“Weare proud to have successfully engineered our first TLWP, which has beenconstructed, installed and will soon be operational,” FloaTec president TK Dassaid.
