Noble said the Houston Colbert, one of six F&G JU-3000N units currently under construction in Singapore, would be picked up by ConocoPhillips for an Alaska tour starting in the fourth quarter of 2013.
The unit, which can operate in up to 400 feet of water, would be on contract for a year at a dayrate of $235,000.
Noble also said that Maersk had signed the Noble Sam Turner, its fourth high-spec jack-up, for a two-year contract in Denmark at a dayrate of $215,000.
