Block partner Neon Energy told the Australian Securities Exchange on Wednesday that sidetrack drilling operations have now resumed at the Cua Lo-1 well following the passage of typhoons Wutip and Nari.
Cua Lo-1 was being drilled by the jack-up rig Ensco 107 in 76 metres of water. Last month, gas shows were encountered in each of the upper three objectives before a kick was experienced due to an over-pressured gas-bearing formation at a depth of 2568 metres.
