The number of upstream deals completed in North-West Europe in 2013 was also down on the previous year, although the UK outperformed Norway in this respect, the report from business advisory Deloitte’s Petroleum Services Group (PSG) read.
North-West Europe saw 121 exploration and appraisal wells drilled last year, compared with 124 in 2012, the firm said in its end of year report.
