In its half year production report released on Wednesday, the company also posted a 4% rise in liquids volumes from the September quarter, attributing the continued growth of its onshore US liquids production, as well as development drilling at Shenzi and a full quarter contribution from the Atlantis and Mad Dog facilities in the Gulf of Mexico.

In particular, onshore US liquids output reached a record 48,000 barrels per day during the December quarter, up 13% from September.
