The West Africa-focused company reported on Tuesday that output from the EAVOM-3H well, located in the Etame Marin Block, rose to 4000 bpd once the electrical submersible pumps were engaged at the minimum setting.
The well’s optimal production rate is expected to be determined in the coming weeks, Vaalco said.
The company is concurrently performing workovers to replace the electrical subsmersible pumps on two wells on the Avouma platform - EAVOM-2H and ETBSM-1H.
