Dutch company Van Leeuwen Pipe & TubeGroup has made its first move on the Brazilian oil & gas market with thepurchase of a local player.
The services outfit is getting its hands ontwo facilities in Brazil through the purchase of Tubexpress.
Founded in 1990, Tubexpress has offices inOsasco and Sao Carlos, both in Sao Paulo state. It currently employees around65 people.
A Van Leeuwen spokesperson would notdisclose the acquisition price but said there would be no change in theheadcount at Tubexpress.
