The Aberdeen-based junior will retain a 20% share in the blockEP469 Perth basin play, which is estimated to hold potential for 185 billioncubic feet of gas in place as well as three trillion cubic feet of overlying upside potential in the Kockatea shale.
The trio will shoot 3D seismic later this year after thefarmout completes and will sink an appraisal well next year, with MazarineEnergy taking over as operator after the programme.
