The vessels will be used by Bumi’s wholly-owned subsidiary Armada offshore MPSV and will be built by a subsidiary of ship builder Nam Cheong in its Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding yard in China.
Wartsila will provide a basic customised design for each of the vessels, as well as supply the main power generation system, the propulsion system, the Wartsila low loss concept electrical system and the automation system.
